Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Bedly platform (“Service”) operated by Bedly, Switzerland (“we”, “our”, “us”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

Bedly is a cloud-based booking management platform for small hospitality businesses. The Service includes: a booking management dashboard, guest booking widget, AI-powered features, communication tools, and related services.

2. Account Registration

  • You must be at least 18 years old to create an account
  • You must provide accurate and complete information
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
  • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
  • One account per property manager (multiple properties allowed on Business plan)

3. Plans & Pricing

  • Prices are in EUR and exclude applicable taxes (VAT/IVA)
  • Billing is monthly, charged at the start of each billing period
  • You may upgrade, downgrade, or cancel at any time
  • Downgrades take effect at the end of the current billing period
  • No refunds for partial months
  • We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice

4. Payment Processing

Payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing to a paid plan, you agree to Stripe's Terms of Service. We do not store your credit card information.

Guest payments processed through the booking widget are between the property manager and the guest. Bedly acts as a technology provider, not a payment intermediary. Standard Stripe processing fees apply.

5. Your Responsibilities

As a property manager using Bedly, you are responsible for:

  • The accuracy of your property information, pricing, and availability
  • Compliance with local hospitality laws and regulations
  • Guest data processing in accordance with GDPR (you are the data controller; we are the data processor)
  • Reporting guest data to local authorities where required
  • Collecting and remitting applicable tourist taxes
  • Ensuring your property meets health and safety standards

6. AI Features

  • AI-generated content is provided as-is and should be reviewed before sending
  • We do not guarantee the accuracy of AI-generated content
  • AI features may be updated or modified without prior notice

7. Data Ownership

  • Your data is yours. You retain all rights to your property information, guest data, bookings, and content
  • We do not sell your data or use it for advertising
  • You can export your data at any time (CSV export available)
  • Upon account deletion, we delete your data within 30 days (except where retention is required by law)

8. Acceptable Use

You may not:

  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose
  • Upload malicious content or exploit security vulnerabilities
  • Resell or redistribute the Service without permission
  • Create fake bookings or manipulate pricing/availability
  • Use AI features to generate harmful or misleading content

9. Service Availability

  • We aim for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee it
  • We may perform maintenance with reasonable notice
  • We are not liable for downtime caused by third-party services

10. Limitation of Liability

  • Bedly is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind
  • We are not liable for lost bookings, revenue, or data resulting from interruptions
  • Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim
  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

11. Termination

  • You may cancel your account at any time from Settings
  • We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms
  • Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days
  • You can request a data export before account deletion

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes at least 30 days in advance via email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Switzerland. Any disputes shall be resolved by the competent courts at the registered seat of Bedly in Switzerland. For EU consumers, mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence apply.
